Philadelphia, PA September 24, 2004 -- GEM SCIENTIFIC, a new Division of Gem Refrigerator Company dedicated to the Clinical and Research Marketplace, introduces a complete new line of Blood Bank Refrigerators and Plasma Freezers.

Eight (8) new models are introduced for use in hospitals and blood centers. GEM SCIENTIFIC has been developing this line for over a year and replaces the current line of Blood Bank products. The newly designed line is more efficient and value oriented states Bruce Gruhler, President. He also adds that they are very contemporary in design and the new color is very attractive. The units very in sizes from counter top models to double door large capacity models.

The new line features top mounted mechanical systems, forced air cooling system with quick recovery after each door opening for uniform temperatures. Blood bank refrigerators maintain 2 o -4o C and the plasma freezers maintain -30 o C. The new models have options to include remote monitors, shelves, pass-thru design, and stainless steel surfaces.

All models comply with AABB, ANRC, FDA and other agency standards. Gem Scientific offers its standard 5 year multi-level warranty.
